Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This policy explains what Styleio collects, why, and how you can control or delete it. Styleio is a personal wardrobe app: you photograph clothes you own, and the app helps you organize them and suggest outfits.

What we collect

Account: email, name, and a hashed password. Wardrobe: photos of your clothing items, plus category/color/material/style metadata. Usage: which outfits you plan or mark as worn, and how often each item is worn. Optional: your device location (only if you grant permission) and a device notification token (only if you enable reminders).

Why we collect it

To run your closet and generate outfit suggestions; to detect what's in a photo (category, color, pattern) through automatic photo analysis and image processing so you don't have to tag everything by hand; to suggest weather-appropriate outfits; and to remind you, if you opt in, to plan an outfit each day.

Location and weather

If you grant location permission, your device fetches the local forecast directly from Open-Meteo (a public weather service) to bias outfit suggestions toward the day's temperature. Your coordinates are not sent to or stored on Styleio's own servers.

Third-party processing

Clothing photos may be processed by trusted service providers to detect category, color, pattern, and to improve product image presentation. These providers process the image to return results to Styleio; they are not used to advertise to you.

Storage and retention

Your data is stored in our database for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account, which permanently removes your wardrobe items, outfits, calendar history, and account details.

What we don't do

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your wardrobe photos for advertising.

Children

Styleio is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
